Washington Bullets forward Bernard King scored eight points in his first All-Star appearance since 1985, completing an extraordinary comeback from a serious knee injury that had threatened his career.

Boston Celtics teammates Kevin McHale and Robert Parish appeared in what became their final NBA All-Star Games.
