The list preserves the referee names and uniform numbers recorded

The officiating staff included veteran referees such as Dick
Bavetta, Joe Crawford, Jess Kersey, Steve Javie, Dan Crawford
and Bennett Salvatore, along with Scott Foster, Tony Brothers,
Monty McCutchen, Marc Davis, Zach Zarba, Ed Malloy and many
other officials who continued working NBA games in later seasons.

About the 2006-07 Officials
The 2006-07 referee roster represents a mixture of longtime NBA
officials and referees who would become familiar figures during
the following decade. Dick Bavetta (#27), Joe Crawford (#17),
Jess Kersey (#20), Steve Javie (#29), Dan Crawford (#43) and
Bennett Salvatore (#15) were among the experienced officials on
the staff.
The roster also included Scott Foster (#48), Tony Brothers (#25),
Monty McCutchen (#13), Marc Davis (#34), Bill Kennedy (#55),
Zach Zarba (#58), Courtney Kirkland (#61) and Ed Malloy (#73).
Tony Greene appears at #68 and former NBA player Haywood Workman
is listed at #72.
Tim Donaghy is listed as referee #21 for the 2006-07 season.
This became his final NBA season. His later involvement in the
NBA betting scandal made the 2006-07 officiating roster one of
the more historically notable referee lists in league history.
The archive preserves each season separately because the composition
of the NBA officiating staff and the uniform numbers worn by
individual referees changed over time. Comparing these annual lists
can help identify officials in historical game photographs,
broadcast footage and other NBA records.
