The NBA scoring title is awarded to the player who finishes the
regular season with the league's highest qualifying points-per-game
average.
Michael Jordan holds the NBA record with 10 scoring
titles, while Wilt Chamberlain ranks second with seven.
Chamberlain also owns the highest single-season scoring average in
league history at 50.4 points per game in 1961-62.
