Michael Jordan became one of the most recognizable
players in basketball history during his career with the Chicago Bulls.
Wearing No. 23 for most of his career, Jordan became known for his
scoring, athleticism, defense, competitiveness and spectacular
above-the-rim play.
Jordan helped lead Chicago to six NBA championships during the 1990s,
winning three consecutive titles from 1991 through 1993 and another
three from 1996 through 1998. The images below preserve moments from
one of the most celebrated careers in NBA history. The Bulls' own
historical material describes those two three-peats as the defining
period of the franchise's 1990s dynasty. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls
Jordan joined Chicago in 1984 and quickly became the centerpiece of
the Bulls franchise. His career included six NBA championships, six
NBA Finals MVP awards, five regular-season MVP awards and some of the
most famous individual performances in league history.
His first retirement ended in 1995 when Jordan returned to the Bulls
wearing No. 45 before eventually returning to No. 23. Chicago then
captured championships in 1996, 1997 and 1998. The Bulls preserve
Jordan's 1995 return as one of the landmark moments in franchise
history.
