Since 1952 there has been 35 protests filed with the #nba. The league has overturned 8 games and forced a replay.

The first recorded protests occurred in 1952 when the Indianapolis Olympians protested a loss. That protest was denied

one of the weirdest replays was in 1979 the nets protested technical foul calls which resulted in the Sixers being award more free throws than they should have.

The league then said the two teams needed to replay the final quarter and a half of the game.

Before the two teams met again to replay the final quarter and a half. The two teams made a trade. The Sixers sent Harvey Catchings and Ralph Simpson to the Nets for Eric Money. This trade resulted in all 3 players playing in the same game for both team.

The next time a game protest was upheld was in 1983 between the Lakers and Spurs.

The last time a game was replayed was in 2008 between the Hawks and the Heat.
