New York State League Championship History
The New York State League was an early professional basketball league
that operated during the 1910s and early 1920s. Championship formats
varied during the league's history, with some champions determined by
the best regular-season record and others decided through playoff
series or split-season formats.
League play was interrupted during World War I, with no league
competition during the 1917-18 and 1918-19 seasons.

Championship Notes

Troy Trojans won three championships in the first
four seasons listed: 1911-12, 1912-13 and 1914-15.
