begun and is not included.
Records are credited to the current NBA franchise and include previous
NBA or BAA identities. The Oklahoma City Thunder therefore include
the Seattle SuperSonics, the Sacramento Kings include the Rochester
Royals, Cincinnati Royals and Kansas City versions of the franchise,
and the Atlanta Hawks include the Tri-Cities Blackhawks, Milwaukee
Hawks and St. Louis Hawks.
The Golden State Warriors include the Philadelphia and San Francisco
Warriors. The Los Angeles Lakers include the Minneapolis Lakers. The
Detroit Pistons include the Fort Wayne Pistons, and the Washington
Wizards include the Chicago Packers, Chicago Zephyrs, Baltimore
Bullets, Capital Bullets and Washington Bullets.
ABA records are not included. Only NBA/BAA
regular-season results are counted for franchises that previously
played in the ABA, including the San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers,
