The Philadelphia 76ers selected Ben Simmons with the
first overall pick. Brandon Ingram went second to the Los Angeles
Lakers, while the Boston Celtics selected Jaylen Brown with the third
pick.
The 2016 draft also produced Jamal Murray, Domantas Sabonis, Pascal
Siakam, Dejounte Murray, Malcolm Brogdon, Ivica Zubac, Buddy Hield
and several other players who became major NBA contributors.

All-Star talent: The class produced multiple NBA
All-Stars, including Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram, Jamal Murray,
Domantas Sabonis, Pascal Siakam, Dejounte Murray and Ben Simmons.
Second-round value: Malcolm Brogdon was selected
36th overall by Milwaukee and went on to win the 2016-17 NBA Rookie
of the Year Award.
International talent: The draft included prospects
