The 2007 NBA Draft is remembered largely for the decision at the top
between Greg Oden and Kevin Durant. Portland selected Oden first
overall, while the Seattle SuperSonics selected Durant second. Durant
went on to become one of the most accomplished scorers in NBA history
and the most decorated player from the class.
The class was much deeper than its top two selections. It also
produced Al Horford, Mike Conley, Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, Jeff Green,
Thaddeus Young, Arron Afflalo, Jared Dudley, Aaron Brooks, Tiago
Splitter and several other players who enjoyed lengthy NBA careers.
Teams listed below are the teams credited with making each original
draft selection. Several picks were traded on draft night.

multiple-time scoring champion and NBA champion.

of Florida's back-to-back NCAA championship teams were selected in
the top nine. Atlanta selected Al Horford third, Minnesota selected
Corey Brewer seventh and Chicago selected Joakim Noah ninth.
