The 1991 NBA Draft produced seven eventual NBA All-Stars: Larry
Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Dikembe Mutombo, Steve Smith, Terrell
Brandon, Dale Davis and Chris Gatling. Mutombo became the most
decorated defensive player from the class and was eventually
inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
The draft also produced a number of longtime NBA contributors,
including Luc Longley, Stacey Augmon, Greg Anthony, Rick Fox,
Bison Dele, Eric Murdock, Stanley Roberts, Pete Chilcutt,
Randy Brown, Elliot Perry, Bobby Phills and Isaac Austin.
Teams listed below are the franchises that held and exercised each
selection at the time of the draft. This preserves the actual draft
order even when a pick had previously changed hands through a trade.
