A.C. Green holds the NBA record with 1,192 consecutive
regular-season games played. His streak began in November
1986 and continued through the final game of his career in April 2001.
Green's streak lasted nearly 15 years and covered time with the
Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat.
Randy Smith had previously held the NBA record with 906 consecutive
games, while Johnny "Red" Kerr played 844 straight games from the
1950s into the 1960s.

Mikal Bridges has played 638 consecutive NBA regular-season
games through the end of the 2025-26 season. The streak began
with his NBA debut in 2018, meaning Bridges has yet to miss a
regular-season game during his NBA career.
Bridges moved past Andre Miller during the 2025-26 season and now
owns the eighth-longest NBA streak of all time. He is fewer than
50 games behind Harry Gallatin and Bill Laimbeer.
In the final game of the 2025-26 regular season, Bridges played only
23 seconds against Charlotte before leaving the game, extending his
streak to 638.
The NBA Cup championship game does not count toward official
regular-season statistics or this consecutive-games streak.
Artis Gilmore and the ABA
The previous version of this page listed Artis Gilmore at
670 consecutive games. That number is a professional
basketball streak that began in the ABA and continued after Gilmore
entered the NBA.
Because this page ranks NBA regular-season streaks, Gilmore's
670-game ABA/NBA streak is not included in the NBA-only rankings
above. It remains one of the longest consecutive-games streaks in
professional basketball history.
