Andrei Kirilenko's 5x5 vs. Lakers — January 3, 2006

Andrei Kirilenko produced another extraordinary all-around performance on January 3, 2006, recording 14 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 6 steals and 7 blocked shots as the Utah Jazz defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 90-80.

Another Kirilenko 5x5

On January 3, 2006, Andrei Kirilenko once again demonstrated why he was one of the NBA's most versatile players. Against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Delta Center, Kirilenko recorded at least five in each of the five major statistical categories.

In 41 minutes and 45 seconds, Kirilenko scored 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting while adding 8 rebounds, 9 assists, 6 steals and 7 blocked shots. He also made one three-pointer and committed only one turnover.

Kirilenko narrowly missed an even rarer statistical achievement. He finished only two rebounds and one assist short of a triple-double while simultaneously recording enough steals and blocks to complete the 5x5.

Utah defeated Los Angeles 90-80, improving to 16-16 on the season. The Lakers dropped to 15-16. Kobe Bryant did not play because he was serving a league suspension.
