The Key Games on the Lakers' NBA Schedule

The Lakers will face the Warriors on October 18th, a game which will be nationally televised.

According to the Lakers NBA schedule, we will have a special treat this Christmas, as the Lakers go against the Mavericks!

Other key games on the Lakers' schedule will be discussed below.

The most important games on the Lakers' schedule

There are a lot of important games on the Lakers' schedule, but some stand out more than others. Here are four of the most important games for the Lakers this season:

1. October 18th vs. the Golden State Warriors
This opening night rematch of last year's Western Conference Finals, and it should be a great game. The Warriors are always a tough opponent, so the Lakers will need to be at their best to come out on top.

2. November 22nd vs. the Phoenix Suns
The Lakers definitely haven't forgotten how things went down last year and will be looking forward to turning the tide in this budding rivalry.

3. December 2nd vs. the Milwaukee Bucks
This could potentially be a preview of this year's NBA Finals, as these are two of the best teams in the league right now. It should be a great game, and it'll be interesting to see how these two teams match up against each other

4. March 28th vs. the Chicago Bulls
This is one of the Lakers last home games of the season and a chance to kick off the tail end of the season on a high note and hopefully begin building momentum for a possible playoff run.

The easiest and toughest stretch of the season

The Lakers start to the season is rough. On the one hand, 10 of their first 15 games are at home. On the other hand, they play the Warriors, Clippers (twice), Nuggets (twice), Timberwolves, Pelicans, Cavaliers and Nets during that stretch.

The Lakers need to get off to a good start to cleanse the sour taste of last season, but it seems realistic that they'll be hovering at or below .500 through the first month of the season.

However, the back half of November is relatively easy. The Lakers play the Pistons, Spurs (three times), Pacers and Trail Blazers.

After a likely slow start to the season, the Lakers should be able to bounce back and rack up some wins ahead of their road-heavy December slate.

What is at stake in the key games on the Lakers NBA schedule?

The Los Angeles Lakers have a lot at stake in their upcoming games.

They are currently in fourth place in the Western Conference, and they need to win as many games as possible to ensure that they make the playoffs.

Additionally, the Lakers are also trying to improve their seeding so that they can avoid playing the Golden State Warriors or Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs.

The Lakers have a tough schedule ahead, with games against the Warriors, Rockets, and Spurs.
