1. Wimbledon, London, England

Wimbledon, also known as The Championships, is considered to be one of the biggest tennis events in the World. This world-class tournament has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London since 1877. It is one of the four main Grand Slam Tennis tournaments in the world, with the others being the Australian Open, the French Open, and the US Open. It takes place over two weeks in late June and early July. The tournament has some unique traditions such as having the players dress strictly in all-white and spectators consuming strawberries and cream during the matches.

Since 2001 the Wimbledon courts have been covered in perennial ryegrass and is the only remaining Grand Slam event that is played on grass courts. There are 19 courts at Wimbledon with Centre Court and No. 1 Court being the main courts for the event which are only used for the two weeks of the year.
