10. Bob Carpenter
Bob Carpenter was a six-foot-five forward center who played 209 NBL games for Oshkosh and Hammond. He lead the NBL in scoring in 1946 with just under 13 points a game and finished his career with a 10 points per game average.
He first joined the Oshkosh All-stars in the 1940 season, but played only his rookie season before joining the military during World War II. Following the war he returned to the All-stars and was a key player in success through out most the decade.
Carpenter left the All-stars during the 48-49 season, which was the last of the NBL, to join the Hammond Calumet Buccaneers. He would not play in the NBA following the merger even though his rights were held by the Milwaukee Hawks.
