The Best Basketball Players of All Time

Does this list sound ambiguous? Well, that's because it is. How do you even start with a list so open to interpretation? When it comes to deciding who the best basketball players of all time are, that is surely left to interpretation? Of course, that depends on whether or not you would rather do a little bit of research and decide for yourself or simply be open to suggestions? If you fall into the latter category, good for you. Here is a list consisting of some of the greatest basketball players of all time.

LeBron James

Okay, first things first, are you a gambler? If so, it may be worth your time betting on something such as the slots at www.rubyfortune.com/ca/. If not, and if you'd rather put your money on sport, then it is always worth your time betting on LeBron James, as he is without a doubt one of the best players in this entire lineup. His skill, pace, and ability to dismantle a team like they are nothing makes him, without a doubt, one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

It won't surprise you to see that the leading scorer in NBA history has made it on to this list. A lot of this can be attributed to the company that he found himself in, including that of Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson; however, while it's all well and good to receive passes from these two greats, you need to know how to convert. Kareem certainly knew how to convert. He was a force that shook and dominated the sport for the two decades he played in it, was responsible for perfecting the skyhook, and also had a hilarious scene in the movie Airplane!

Larry Bird

Don't be fooled by Larry's humble beginnings; he was, without a doubt, one of the fiercest competitors and greatest smack-talkers in the history of the game. Thanks to the confidence that he demonstrated in spades, he was never short on shade to pass on to defenders and let them know that he was one of the greatest shots to ever take to the court. He is also responsible for an incredible rivalry with Magic Johnson, which launched not only his career but the entire sport into a national level of popularity that it never seems to have fallen from.

Michael Jordan

And obviously, what kind of basketball list would this be without the mention of Michael Jordan? Not only one of the best but also, without a doubt, the most famous player of all time. He was incredibly competitive and, as such, is a pivotal feature of the entire sport. His legendary play took him to six championships and saw him claim five different MVP awards and a plethora of all-star appearances. He is also, arguably, one of the best defenders to ever take to the game. With a career that averages 30.1 points per game, there really can't be any question of Michael Jordan's spot on this list. The best player in history? Maybe. One of the best players ever? Without a doubt.
