Houston Rockets/Utah Jazz
The Rockets traded Forward Glen Rice, 2 future first round picks, and Cash to the Utah Jazz for Center John Ameachi and a 2004 second round pick.
Rice who is a 12 year vetran is expected to be released by the Jazz, but will meet with Jazz GM Kevin O'Connor, and might change his mind. Ameachi a 5 year vet who has been nothing short of a cancer to the Jazz, will probibly stick on.
The Rockets also signed Jim Jackson, after the trade. Jackson spent all of last season with the Sacramento Kings

Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers have added vetran swingman Bryon Russell to their training camp roster. Russell all but disapeared last season after leaving the Utah Jazz to join the Washington Wizards. Russell likly wont make the team

The Miami Heat signed Forward Center, Charokee Parks. Parks who has spent the last few season with the Clippers, was informed by the Clippers this offseason that they wouldnt resign him, even though the Fans liked him

Memphis Grizzlies/Phoenix Suns
The Grizzlies and Suns completed a 5 player trade today. the Grizzlies shipped Bob Archibal, Ceasry Tabrisky, and Brevin Knight to the Suns for Bo Outlaw, and Jake Tsakalitis. this is a move to clear garenteed contracts from the Grizzlies, who now have 16 garenteed contracts, 1 above the league max for Roster spots(15)
