11/1/04- Some interesting cuts where made today; the most shocking may have come from the Memphis Grizzlies who cut both Troy Bell, and Bo Outlaw.
Troy Bell Bell a first round draft choice in 2003 by the Boston Celtics was traded to Memphis on Draft night, he played 5 games for the Grizzlies, including one start in his rookie season.
Howard Eisley Eisley who was a fixture backing up John Stockton on two NBA finals teams may be looking at the NBDL now.
Bo Outlaw Outlaw an 11 year vet has had stints with the Clippers, Magic, and Suns before being acquired last year by the Grizzlies. he played in all 82 games with the Grizzlies last year, and averaged over 4 points and 4 rebound a game with the Grizzlies.
Eddie Robinson Robinson a 5 year vet signed a 5 year deal with the Bulls in 2001 after two years in Charlotte; but never was what the Bulls expected him to be. he was bought out.
Andre Barret Barret who was cut from the Knicks late in the preseason looked to be destined to the NDBL, but was picked up by the Rockets where he made a good late impression and made the Roster.
Arthur Johnson Johnson an undrafted rookie out of Missouri has twice played with the Nuggets in the Rocky Mountain Review, has finaly stuck this season.
